For the Italian affiliate we are looking for a Customer Market Insight

Customer Market Insight (CMI) creates integrated strategic insights and analytics on IT Performance utilizing Market Research, business execution insight, business performance reporting and competitive intelligence.


Within insight disciplines the Customer market insight (CMI) drives and build functional excellence using strategic thinking and advanced business analytics capabilities. Provides proactive fact based recommendations based on insights for business performance reviews with key stakeholders. Takes active part of developing the CMI function by leading projects, training colleagues and takes on ad-hoc managerial tasks in support of the Head of EU+ Customer Market & Insights and Head of IT CE&O

Be a business partner

  • Be strong CMI Business Partner to key business functions, ensuring solid understanding of the business development and driving that decisions are based on facts and insights
  • Drive CMI strategic insight processes
  • Develop and ensure key performance indicators are in place for brands and execution initiatives to ensure learning loops and insights gathering
  • Develop guidance and foster best practices sharing to drive strong CMI processes and initiatives at affiliate level
  • Executes projects with key stakeholders, can be both CMI improvement projects or insight/execution projects with key stakeholders in Medical, Multichannel excellence, Marketing, FFE or others

Lead the LRP and forecasting process

  • Responsible for development and drive the long-range plan (LRP) for the MS market, developing case scenarios, assumptions based on insights.
  • Proactively drive and strengthen the forecasting process at local level, applying efficient methodologies using latest technology to drive robust and aligned forecasts

Support Affiliate in decision making process through analytics

  • Apply analytical expertise to support decision making, conducting critical analyses by integrating multiple data sources to provide an objective viewpoint
  • Leverage analytics expertise and brand/TA knowledge to align and support the organization during key business processes such as Business Reviews, Annual Operating Planning, Forecasts, Integrated Customer Planning Process etc.
  • Provide leadership with recommendations during business reviews

Lead the MR plan

  • Plan and co-ordinate assigned market research at local level and within EU+ CMI team and Global Program Leads or
  • Identify MR needs/data gaps for MS/SMA/BBU in IT/ EU+ and design & deliver or ask for research to address
  • Provide rigorous assessment and diagnosis of brand and market performance, presenting insights and recommendations



C.    Minimum Education Requirements

      Minimum educational level necessary to perform the job (High         School diploma, Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, Masters, PhD)

D.   Minimum Experience Requirements

      Minimum experience requirements necessary to perform the job

  • Master degree in business, the life sciences, pharmacy, or chemistry (advanced biology, medicine-related degree preferred).
  • Min. 3-4 years relevant experience within a life sciences company or consulting firm supporting the healthcare industry with a specific focus on delivery of market analytics and research
  • Excellent English
  • Statistical background is a plus
  • Excellent Office (in particular Excel)
