Our client is an international biotechnology company focused on the development of innovative oncology therapies, currently strengthening its direct presence in the Italian market.
As part of this expansion, we are looking for 2 experienced Oncology Key Account Managers who will contribute to the launch and development of a highly innovative oncology portfolio, with a particular focus on solid tumors and gynecologic oncology.

The Role
The Oncology Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing the Company’s presence across the assigned territory, building strong relationships with hospitals, cancer centers, academic institutions and key oncology stakeholders.
The role combines strategic account management, scientific engagement, commercial excellence and regional/local market access, supporting product adoption and optimal patient access.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the territory business plan, identifying priorities, opportunities and key accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with oncologists, KOLs, multidisciplinary teams and relevant decision-makers.
  • Drive product adoption and support the launch of innovative oncology treatments.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the territory, competitive landscape and patient pathways.
  • Work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing and Market Access.
  • Identify and address barriers to patient access at regional and hospital level.
  • Engage with hospital pharmacists, payers, procurement teams and stakeholders involved in local access decisions.
  • Support product inclusion in hospital formularies, therapeutic pathways and local protocols.
  • Manage territory activities and resources in line with company policies and applicable regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 3 years in oncology.
  • Strong experience within the solid tumor market; experience in gynecologic oncology and/or ADCs will be considered a strong asset.
  • Previous experience in the launch of innovative oncology products.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and build relationships with KOLs and key stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of the Italian oncology environment and regional access dynamics.
  • Strong scientific acumen combined with commercial and strategic capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility and ability to operate in a dynamic and evolving organization.
  • Good communication, organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • English proficiency is considered a plus.
  • Availability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
