BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER Business unit Business Development & Licensing Sedi Italia For our client, a Growing CDMO specialized in development and production of sterile injectable products we’re looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER The candidate, reporting to BD manager, will lead and manage key projects with a primary focus on execution; this includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables and timing. Product and business goals will be achieved by planning and directing project plans, managing cross- functional teams, and coordinating activities within the established project timelines and budgets, with following Key responsibilities: Project management: Project Management for CDMO projects (Technology Transfer and new Development) being SPOC with customers for all projects aspects; Coordinate internally project activities being PM of multidisciplinary teams, setting up and leading projects meetings and issuing Project Plans; Monitor constantly respect of timelines and costs; Provide regular updates to CCO and Management on projects status; Support Finance for projects cost controlling updating projects financial WIPs; Coordinate external activities (i.e. laboratories activities) connected with Projects’ execution; Business Development: Management of new customers until product launch (included); Support CCO in new projects technical evaluation evaluation; Preparation of Technology Transfer and Commercial Proposals; Represent the companies in international exhibitions and congresses; Support CCO in scouting of new customers and business opportunities; In-licensing, out-licensing of new products; Support CCO in budget proposal for new projects and products. New Products launch: Coordinate activities to support commercial launch of New Products ensuring materials availability, proper documentation availability and coordinating internal activities on time; Be the SPOC with external customers for New Products launch, setting up launch preparation plan with the customers. Regulatory: Coordinate regulatory activities, evaluations and timelines for New Projects and being SPOC with customers for regulatory documentation readiness. Skills & qualifications: Degrees in Pharmacy/CTF/Chemistry/Biotechnology; Knowledge of the pharmaceutical Industry and CMO manufacturing processes; At least 3 years of experience in complex multinational CMO environment; Formal project management training preferred; Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented; Fluent English (speaking, reading, writing); Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to influence others to reach agreements and adopt a course of action; Ability to work well independently and in a team based environment; Ability to travel 20%.
