COUNTRY LEAD ITALY

The Country Lead is a pivotal role responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the company’s operations within Italy. As a Country Lead in the pharmaceutical industry, you will play a critical role in driving growth, ensuring compliance, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement country-specific strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Drive business growth by expanding into new markets and optimizing operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee employees and contractors, managing their performance and development.

Financial Oversight:
  • Manage the country’s profit and loss (P&L) statement, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Monitor budget performance and financial metrics.

Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Implement best practices for quality and safety.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar managerial role, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and effective time management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian’s culture, customs, and business practices.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.

Objectives:
  • Develop and execute a country-specific strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Achieve sales targets and market share growth in Italy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations.
