We are supporting Sobi Italy in the search for a Key Account Manager Lazio/Sardegna – Metabolic Diseases. Introduction / Purpose The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing Swedish Orphan Biovitrum Srl’s presence in Metabolic Diseases Therapeutic Area in the assigned geographic territory, while building and maintaining effective professional relationships with relevant stakeholders. This role serves as the main point of contact for key stakeholders, supports the successful field launch of new products or indications, sustains products sales and promotion, and collaborates with all other company departments, including Market Access and Medical field team, to ensure the correct implementation of all territorial activities, in accordance with company policies, industry codes, and applicable laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities / Scope of the Job Constantly monitor the area of his/her supervisor about the appropriate use of medicinal products and reporting of safety information by healthcare professionals in accordance with applicable pharmacovigilance requirements, company procedures, and current regulations. In collaboration with the Business Unit Director/National Sales Manager and relevant cross-functional functions, including Marketing, define local activities and steps necessary to reach the objectives in his/her area of competence. Provide scientific and product information to Healthcare Professionals, in accordance with plan agreed with his/her supervisor and in compliance with the company’s strategy, with the company’s policies and procedures and with applicable laws and regulations. Develop and continuously improve his/her own knowledge on the therapeutic area of his/her competence through participation in meeting, refresher courses and self-learning activities. Organize, plan and document his/her own field activities (visits, itineraries, meeting) and, on a regular basis, report to his/her NSM using the available approved company systems and tools. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes, and company requirements relating to scientific information, pharmacovigilance and ethical code. In case of problems, act appropriately and inform his/her supervisor. Represent the Company at national and regional congresses, scientific meetings, and other approved events, in accordance with applicable company procedures and compliance requirements. Develop and execute stakeholder engagement activities/visits to support long-term goals, within the assigned territory. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation of activities and customer interactions within the approved CRM system, in accordance with company requirements and established deadlines. KAM must work and deliver each single action in strictly accordance with SOBI Policies, procedures and in compliance with the applicable law and regulations, including Legislative Decree 21/2006, Farmindustia Code. Travel requirement: The role involves travel, the extent of which will depend on evolving business needs and cannot be precisely defined at this stage. Candidate Profile University degree qualifying for the profession of Pharmaceutical Scientific Information Officer, as required by Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 219/06. Proven experience in the Specialty Care area as a Sales Specialist, with experience in the cardiometabolic area required. Strong customer-facing skills, with demonstrated success in account management. Strong business acumen and analytical ability to translate data into action. Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing abilities. Good command of English. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the territory. For this position, we are offering: Permanent employment contract Full-time (39 hours per week) The salary range for this role is €55,000 to €80,000 gross per year, depending on the candidate’s level of experience, seniority, and demonstrated competencies.
