Our client is a growing international pharmaceutical company with approved portfolio of products, many of them lifesaving, focused on emergency care and rare diseases.

On its behalf, we are looking for a MEDICAL SCIENCE LIASON RARE DISEASE, ITALY

The medical Science Liaison is responsible for supporting the safe and effective use of Company therapies focusing on communication complex medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals and communication field medical intelligence/insights to internal stakeholders. The MSL has the responsibility of whole Italian territory, autonomously managing, developing and growing medical activities/initiatives achieving key medical objectives.
 
Key Responsibilities
1.    Therapy training to guide the safe and effective use of the Company’s therapies
2.    Medical support: focus on therapies
3.     Development and execution on KOL engagement plan at congresses
4.    Research support: Focus on Therapies
5.    Be the team expert on all aspects of the MSL role including: process improvements and sharing of best practice
6.    Be compliant to Ethics, Compliance and internal policies
 
Qualifications
-    A minimum of 5 years of expertise within Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences Industry as an MSL
-    Scientific clinical research knowledge
-    Ability to extract insight from clinical data
-    Demonstrated scientific and medical acumen, preferably with a publication record
-    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software and web-base customer and clinical support tools.
-    Outstanding interpersonal consultative skills
-    Excellent presentation/platform skills
-    Sincere desire for self-motivated continuous scientific, technical and medical learning
-    Strong teaching acumen with focus on practical learning
-    Ability to manage and prioritize workload, multi-task and manage a diverse mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges
-    Ability to creatively address problems in an organized systematic way
-    Collaborative style, responsive, considerate, flexible, assertive and personable
-    Fluent in English and Italian
