A global, innovation-driven biopharma company in Rare Diseases is seeking a Senior Brand Manager to join its Milan office and take full end-to-end accountability for a flagship product/brand in a high-impact therapeutic area.

The role
You will own the brand strategy and execution in Italy, acting as the key marketing lead and business partner across functions (Medical, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory, PV, Finance), with clear accountability on performance and delivery.

Key responsibilities
  • Define and execute brand strategy (pre-launch/launch/post-launch depending on lifecycle), aligned with global and regional direction and tailored to Italy.
  • Own the integrated marketing plan: positioning, segmentation, messaging, omnichannel, campaigns, HCP/patient initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional leadership to ensure coherent execution across Medical, Market Access, Sales and external stakeholders.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting (OPEX), KPIs and performance tracking; translate insight into decisive actions.
  • Develop high-quality promotional materials and ensure full compliance with internal/external standards.
  • Leverage market intelligence, competitive insights and patient journey understanding to identify growth levers.
  • Manage agency partners and external vendors; ensure speed, quality, and measurable impact.
What we’re looking for
  • Solid experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing (senior level), with demonstrated product/brand ownership.
  • Strong exposure to Rare Diseases and/or complex specialty care environments (high-science, complex patient journey, limited pool, high stakeholder density).
  • Proven ability to lead without authority: influence cross-functionally, drive alignment, and deliver in matrix organizations.
  • Data-driven and execution-oriented: comfortable with KPIs, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Fluent English required.
Location: Milan (hybrid)
