MEDICAL LEAD - RARE DISEASES

Pharma Point is looking for a Medical Lead – Rare Diseases for an international biopharmaceutical company.

Based in Milan and reporting to the Medical Director Italy, the role will play a key strategic and people management function within the Italian Medical Affairs organization.

The Medical Lead will contribute to the development and execution of the local medical strategy, support launch and scientific engagement activities, and coordinate the field medical team at national level.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate the field medical team, ensuring alignment, performance and development

• Contribute to the Medical Affairs strategy in Italy

• Drive KOL/HCP engagement and scientific exchange

• Support launch activities and cross-functional projects

• Collaborate with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and PV teams

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and healthcare regulations

Requirements:

• Advanced scientific degree

• Solid Medical Affairs experience in pharma/biotech

• Proven experience in managing medical field teams

• Background in rare diseases or specialty care preferred

• Strong people management, leadership and communication skills

• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution capabilities

• Fluent Italian and English

• Availability to travel

• Based in Milan or willing to relocate
